Biography:
Senior John Barnhill has left a great impression upon the students and faculty at Thompson Valley. Known for being loud and obnoxious -- okay, scratch that. Known for being quiet and polite, "Barnhill" as he's called, does light up the basketball courts. John has played 9 years of basketball and competed all 4 years while at TVHS. The most memorable moment of Eagle basketball was "when Logan Brian came off the bench and airballed a free throw". The person in high school who had the greatest influence on him was "Beth, because she reminded me to be a nicer person after I saw her."
John advises younger athletes to "just leave it all on the floor, even in practice." After high school, Barnhill plans to go to college for a business degree. He'd like to thank his "My parents and Coach Burkett. Also, Coach Andrew and Coach Noah for helping me develop my freshman year."
