Biography:
Sage Gavin has been Wrestling for 6 years, after getting a start at Walt Clark Middle School. He's participated at Thompson Valley all 4 years. The person who has been the greatest influence on Sage is Coach Quinn. According to Gavin, "Quinn has helped me both in academics and sports. He has taught me through ups and downs to always just be me." The greatest wrestling memory for Sage was knocking out a Loveland High kid in a match.
To all the younger athletes, Sage's sage advice is: Keep your grades nice and no matter how hard practice or challenges in the sport become, remember why you're there.
After Thompson Valley, Sage plans to obtain a trade and study business management. He would like to thank "My mom and dad (Jennifer and Time) for always supporting me and pushing me to be my best. I'd like to thank all my coaches for a great experience."
